Heritage is the full range of our inherited traditions, monuments, objects, and culture.  Most important, it is the range of contemporary activities, meanings, and behaviours that we draw from them. Heritage includes, but is much more than preserving, excavating, displaying, or restoring a collection of old things.  It is both tangible and intangible, in the sense that ideas and memories--of songs, recipes, language, dances, and many other elements of who we are and how we identify ourselves, it is important as historical buildings and archaeological sites. Then, art is Interactions between the elements and principles of art help artists to organize sensorially pleasing works of art while also giving viewers a framework within which to analyze and discuss aesthetic ideas. Multimedia is the field concerned with the computer-controlled integration of text, graphics, drawings, still and moving images (Video), animation, audio, and any other media where every type of information can be represented, stored, transmitted and processed digitally. This is dedicated to the development of heritage in various genres of visual and performing arts, literature, culture and particularly in the Asian region.

The International Journal of Heritage, Art and Multimedia (IJHAM) is published by Global Academic Excellence (M) Sdn Bhd (GAE) to serve academicians a platform of sharing and updating their knowledge and research outputs as well as information within the sphere of heritage, art and multimedia. The scope of this journal covers a multi-disciplinary and a cross disciplinary fields that include Creative Multimedia, Art History, Media Arts, Heritage management, Cultural heritage, Human relationships and the relevant topics. The publication of the journal, covering such multi-disciplinary fields, provides up-to-date and ongoing overview of heritage globally. Additionally, the readers of the journal have the insight of heritage, art, and multimedia within a range of another dimension and need including market size, its driving factors, standards, policies and regulatory framework, ongoing issues and challenges, and prospects of heritage, art and multimedia.

IJHAM journal invites researchers, academicians and practitioners for the submission of research articles, and book reviews, relevant fields developing and developed countries globally. All the submissions are in English and refereed journal published quarterly (March, June, September and December). The journal aims to publish all quality submission in time to ensure the impact of heritage research quickly conveyed, examined, and disseminated worldwide. Simultaneously, it visions to become the benchmark for the research and publications in all the fields of heritage, art and multimedia and promote the superior standards globally
